Overview: Wilkinson Staffing Agency (WSA) is seeking motivated and reliable Delivery Driver Helpers to join our team across Austin, Dallas, San Antonio, and Wichita Falls, Texas. As a Delivery Driver Helper, you will play a crucial role in assisting drivers with the safe and timely delivery of goods to our customers.
This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to start immediately and earn competitive wages with ample overtime opportunities. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the delivery driver in loading and unloading goods from the delivery vehicle.
- Ensure all deliveries are made accurately and on time.
- Communicate effectively with customers to confirm delivery details and provide excellent customer service.
- Handle packages and products with care to prevent damage.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle.
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures during deliveries.
- Assist in navigation and route planning to optimize delivery efficiency.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs) frequently.
- Strong communication and customer service skills. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Valid driver's license.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime when necessary.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
- Prior experience in a similar role is a plus but not required.
