Local Travel CT/XR Technologist

Experienced radiologic technologist needed to perform CT and X-ray imaging while ensuring patient safety and image quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic radiographic and CT examinations according to established protocols
• Operate X-ray and CT imaging equipment safely and efficiently
• Prepare patients for examinations, explain procedures, and provide appropriate positioning and support
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images while following radiation safety standards
• Verify patient information, examination orders, and imaging protocols
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility policies and procedures
• Monitor patients throughout examinations and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team
• Maintain equipment and report equipment concerns or malfunctions as appropriate
• Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and regulatory standards
• Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and excellent communication throughout the assignment

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• ARRT (R) certification required
• New Mexico State Radiologic Technologist License required
• ARRT (CT) certification or provisional CT required
• Current clinical competency in diagnostic X-ray and CT procedures
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Strong patient-care, communication, and organizational skills

Preferred Skills:

• Previous CT/X-ray experience strongly preferred
