Additionally, this role is responsible for meeting company guidelines for guest experience, as well as complying with company guidelines for safety and food safety.Current Hiring For:Deli Sandwich/Panini ProductionDeli FryerDeli Meat/Cheese Cold CaseDeli Hot Food CaseSalad ProductionSmokehouse CasePanini CaseCatering ProductionHere's What You'll Do:Prepare and produce deli products to production plannerPackage and label deli products per program planMerchandise deli products per flight plan/merchandising expectationsStock backroom with deli products – rotating and dating cases/bucketsWork as a team with other departments and stores to achieve growth in our SpartanNash retail storesNotify the Deli Manager if products and supplies need to be orderedUnderstand basic functions of adding, subtracting, multiplying and divisionCommunicate tasks, recipes, weights and measures, and cleaning steps completed to other associatesFollow all PPE and safety guidelinesFollow all food safety and cleaning expectationsFollow guest experience guidelinesMay be assigned tasks in other departments based on customer experience needAdditional responsibilities may be assigned as neededHere's What You'll Need:High school diploma (GED) preferredOne year of retail or related experience preferredAbility to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documentsBasic mathematical skillsDetail orientedPhysical Requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
