As the steward of county infrastructure, you will lead projects involving the establishment, design, construction, alteration, and improvement of local roads and bridges, ensuring compliance with all legal and safety requirements. Candidates are required to have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, as well as registration as a Professional Civil Engineer in the State of Washington – or the ability to obtain registration within six months of hire. Professional engineering expertise in the design, construction, or maintenance of roadways is a must. In recognition of your expertise, Asotin County offers a highly competitive salary range of $132,683.24 to $154,205.87, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus distributed in stages. Additional relocation support may also be available.
