No Position Summary Information Primary duties of full time faculty include teaching courses in the approved discipline, providing instruction to facilitate student acquisition of the specific learning outcomes identified for the assigned courses, as well as recruiting, advising, and mentoring students in and outside of the classroom. The faculty member creates and maintains an effective learning environment in the modalities of the courses assigned, be they face-to-face, hybrid, online, or within the context of dual credit instruction. Full time faculty members are also responsible for participation in professional development activities, serving on college committees, developing and updating curriculum, textbook, equipment selection and instructional materials. Faculty members are expected to maintain familiarity with and adhere to College policies and procedures. Analyzes performance and instructs college athletes in game strategies & techniques to prepare them for athletic competition. Recruit quality student athletes by developing a network across the country of potential S-A's that fit the profile. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications All faculty members must meet Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) academic, oral and written English proficiency requirements. All full time faculty members must demonstrate a willingness and abilities to teach day, evening and/or weekend classes in face-to-face, hybrid, online, and dual credit environments. Education and Experience Required Education: All faculty members must possess minimum Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) credential standards. Bachelor’s degree required. Preferred Education: Master’s degree. Required Experience: 2-3 years playing experience in Professional or College golf and/or 2-3 years College coaching experience. Preferred Experience: 1-2 years recruiting experience, in addition to 2-3 years playing experience in Professional or College golf and/or 2-3 years College coaching experience. Coaching: Recruiting, advising & academic tracking, practice planning, arrange team travel, assist in scheduling, perform regular room checks of S-A's, stats & weekly reporting, equipment/uniform inventory & maintenance, pre/post game & practice management.
