Bartender PositionHawthorn Topgolf Swing Suites Odessa is looking for an enthusiastic bartender to provide an excellent guest drinking experience. Good bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations.Job Responsibilities:Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patronsInteract with customers, take orders and serve food and drinksAssess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendationsMix ingredients to prepare cocktails and signature drinksPrepare bar area and garnish needed for drinksCheck all customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age and is current and meets TABC standardsKnow and enforce TABC regulationsRestock and replenish bar inventory and suppliesStay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experienceTake out trash as necessaryComply with all food and beverage regulationsComply with all Standard Operating Procedures outlined by managementOther duties as assigned.Job Requirements:Resume and proven working experience as a bartenderExcellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinksComputer literacyPoint of sale operation knowledgeAbility to stand and or walk for 8 hoursAbility to lift up to 30 poundsKnowledge of a second language is a plus, but not a requirementPositive attitude and excellent communication skillsAbility to be on time and in Full Uniform by designated shift start timeAbility to keep the bar organized, stocked and cleanMust have current TABC and FOOD HANDLERS certification
