Job Title: Heavy Duty Truck MechanicLocation: Nashville, TNCompany: Extreme Coatings IncJob Type: Full-TimeSalary: Up to $40 per hour, depending on experienceSchedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00am–3:30pm; Overtime as neededResponsibilitiesDiagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty trucks and trailers (brakes, engines, transmissions, electrical, etc.)Perform regular preventive maintenance inspections and servicesTroubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic toolsComplete work orders, maintenance logs, and inspection reportsEnsure all repairs comply with safety regulations and company standardsMaintain a clean and organized work environmentCollaborate with dispatch and operations teams to minimize vehicle downtimeQualificationsMinimum of 3 years of experience in heavy truck repair and maintenanceValid driver's license (Class A or B CDL preferred but not required)Strong understanding of diesel engines, air brake systems, hydraulics, and electrical systemsProficient with diagnostic tools and repair softwareAbility to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditionsMust be dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-consciousPreferred SkillsASE Certification or equivalentExperience with fleet maintenanceWelding and fabrication skillsWhat We OfferCompetitive hourly wage + overtimeHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysStable, year-round work
