Temporary HR Assistant

This is an excellent temporary opportunity for someone with previous HR administration or HR assistant experience who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment and takes pride in delivering accurate, organised support. Starting immediately and expected to run for several months, you'll gain valuable experience across a broad range of HR activities while working with an experienced and supportive team. Paid via the Allen Associates weekly PAYE payroll, this temporary position is full‑time and will require a quick start. Temporary HR Assistant Responsibilities This position will involve, but will not be limited to: Responding to reference requests. Processing employee leavers and updating HR systems. Producing HR reports and preparing documentation. Liaising with payroll to ensure employee information is processed accurately. Supporting a range of HR administration tasks across the employee lifecycle. Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with data protection requirements. Working closely with colleagues to provide an efficient, high‑quality HR service. Temporary HR Assistant Rewards £15.38 per hour plus holiday pay, paid weekly via the Allen Associates PAYE payroll. Full‑time hours (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday, generally 8:30am to 5:00pm with an unpaid lunch break. Plenty of on‑site parking. Temporary HR Assistant Experience Essentials We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and enjoys working with detail. You'll have: Previous experience in an HR Assistant or HR Administration role. Good working knowledge of HR systems (Workday would be an advantage). Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel. Excellent communication and organisational skills. The ability to prioritise a busy workload and work independently. A collaborative approach and a willingness to support the wider HR team.
