Join us and be part of a team where your impact truly drives the business forward.With a mission of **"Growth Powered by People,"** we are propelled by our colleagues and preferred by our customers, making Lithia & Driveway the leading automotive retailer in each of our markets.Our success is fueled by four core values:* **Earning Customers for Life*** **Improving Constantly*** **Taking Personal Ownership*** **Having Fun**Our entrepreneurial, high-performance culture sets us apart, and our philosophy is straightforward: assemble a team of passionate individuals and cultivate an environment that empowers colleagues to excel.**We’d love to have you join us on our journey.****What You’ll Do:*** Process Daily Transactions: Handle daily check and credit card deposits and assist with reconciling the cash sales accounting schedule.* Audit Car Deals: Review deals for accuracy and completeness using the Deal Checklist before submission to the Accounting Processing Center.* Track and Report Issues: Maintain notes on missing or incorrect items in the Booked and Pending report and support compliance tracking.* Support Documentation and Compliance: Scan documents into the Digital Deal Jacket and review IRS Form 8300s for accuracy.* Collaborate with Store Operations: Work with store teams and Business Managers to implement process changes and ensure revenue recognition.* Assist with Accounting Schedules: Help maintain reconciled accounting schedules as assigned by the Business Manager.* Cross-Train and Provide Backup: Learn the Title & Registration Specialist role to support other accounting functions when needed.* Meet Performance Standards: Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency in all assigned tasks.**What You’ll Bring:*** Attention to Detail: Accuracy in auditing and processing financial documents.* Communication: Strong verbal and written communication abilities.* Time Management: Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines efficiently.* Critical Thinking: Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.* Active Listening: Understanding and responding effectively to team needs.* Tech Proficiency: Comfortable using Microsoft Office and web-based applications.* Experience: 1+ years in a dealership environment or experience processing car deals is preferred.* Adaptability: Ability to work independently and adjust quickly to role demands.**We Offer Best-in-Class Industry Benefits:*** The full hourly range for this position is $16.85-26.46 an hour. The anticipated starting pay for this role is $19-25+, based on factors such as skills, experience, and internal equity.
