Job Description

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including physical exams and comprehensive assessments of medical histories
• Aid in evaluating and diagnosing surgical conditions through the interpretation of imaging studies and lab results
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement patient-specific surgical treatment strategies
• Offer vital intraoperative support, such as preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and passing instruments during procedures
• Deliver exemplary pre- and post-operative care, including administering medications, managing wounds, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical rotations with a surgical focus are highly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
