Assistant Varsity Bowling Coach

Summary Lewisburg Area High School is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our athletic program as an Assistant Varsity Bowling Coach for the upcoming season. This seasonal position requires a commitment to fostering a positive and competitive environment for student-athletes, promoting teamwork, skill development, and sportsmanship. The ideal candidate will work closely with the head coach to support the team’s goals and enhance the overall bowling program. Responsibilities Assist the head coach in planning and conducting daily practice sessions and team meetings. Provide instruction and guidance to student-athletes on bowling techniques, strategies, and game rules. Help develop and implement training programs that enhance individual and team performance. Monitor and evaluate the progress of student-athletes, providing feedback and support to improve their skills. Support the organization and execution of team events, including matches, tournaments, and fundraising activities. Foster a positive team culture that emphasizes respect, discipline, and sportsmanship. Communicate effectively with student-athletes, parents, and school administration regarding team matters. Assist in maintaining team equipment and ensuring a safe practice environment. Attend all team practices, competitions, and relevant meetings throughout the season. Requirements Previous experience in coaching or playing bowling at a high school or collegiate level is preferred. Strong knowledge of bowling techniques, strategies, and rules of the game. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with student-athletes, parents, and staff. Ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes while promoting teamwork and a positive attitude. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
