Job Overview The Berkshire County Sheriff’s Office recruits correctional officers through a nine‑week Basic Recruit Training Academy. Upon successful completion, new officers receive a starting salary of $61,455.89, paid vacation, 11 paid holidays, medical and dental benefits, and a retirement plan.
