Dental Lab Cad Cam Technician Trainee Join National Dentex - a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry! We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have 50 labs throughout the country. We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this Dental Lab CAD CAM Technician Trainee opportunity at NDX Davis Dental Laboratory in Wyoming, MI. The regular hours for this position are from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time. Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position: Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist Knowledge and comfortability with computers Operate the computer-aided design & computer-aided manufacturing steps for the designing process, including scanning, loading and creating files Operate software for nesting designs to be processed throughout the milling / printing process Load information into the computer, such as patient name, pan number, shade, etc. Follow all required steps, to insure consistent, accurate results Review final work to confirm that quality standards have been met Order Implant parts for cases; maintain inventory Case planning for implant cases with doctors and internal team members Serve as primary point of contact for incoming technical questions, requests, and case consultation needs on surgical guides Support production efficiency by taking ownership of technical Implant follow-up items with customers Design CAD/CAM abutments Impression QC Clean work area daily All other duties as assigned Skills and Abilities Required: Excellent hand-eye coordination Strong ability to read, listen, comprehend, retain, and execute on written and verbal instructions High level of organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize work Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English Minimum Education and Experience Required: Previous Dental Experience is a plus but not required; we offer paid / on the job training High School diploma or equivalent preferred Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used: Computer and scanning equipment 3D Printers Small machinery Hand-pieces Additional related materials or equipment, as required Personal protective equipment, as required Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 25 pounds Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel and/or reach Fine motor skills and ability to perform repetitive motions Vision capabilities, including depth perception, attention to detail, and color Qualifications Behaviors: Required: Team Player: Works well as a member of a group Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well Dedicated: Devoted to a task or purpose with loyalty or integrity Preferred: High School or Equivalent or better.
