Job Description Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Business Analyst to support the development of data governance, data quality, and AI enablement capabilities across the organization. This role will play a key part in transitioning from project-based delivery to a data strategy and governance operating model, helping establish foundational structures for a future data office. Full time opportunity with a leading North American energy company, serving as the world's largest generator of renewable energy from wind and solar, along with being a major owner of battery storage and nuclear assets Key Responsibilities Support the design and implementation of data governance frameworks, policies, and standards Help define data ownership, stewardship, and accountability models Partner with business and technology teams to align on governance practices Define and document data quality rules, metrics, and monitoring approaches Identify gaps in data quality and support remediation strategies Collaborate with teams to embed data quality practices into delivery and operations Contribute to the creation of a data governance office structure Support development of governance workflows and decision frameworks REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 4+ years of experience in Business Analysis, with exposure to data, analytics, or governance initiatives Strong understanding of data governance concepts (ownership, lineage, stewardship, controls) NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Experience with data governance frameworks or tools (e.g., Collibra, Alation, DAMA) Exposure to AI/ML concepts and use case evaluation Experience supporting organizational change or operating model design
