Health Information Technology Specialist West

IQVIA seeks a Health Information Technology Specialist to support pharmaceutical client partnerships across multiple cardiovascular brands. The role involves integrating brands into EHR systems at priority healthcare accounts, identifying barriers to patient care, and collaborating with clinical and IT teams to optimize workflows and enhance patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

Identify gaps and barriers within EHR systems at priority integrated delivery networks and health systems
Conduct workflow assessments and recommend scalable solutions to address care delivery barriers
Collaborate with clinicians, IT informatics teams, and quality leaders to enhance patient care insights
Develop and implement comprehensive customer-specific plans aligned with institutional priorities
Share EHR optimization insights across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department settings

Requirements

Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university
Minimum 4 years EHR design, build, testing, or health system informatics experience
Proficiency with Epic, Cerner, Meditech, or McKesson systems
In-depth knowledge of healthcare IT and software optimization techniques
Strong oral and written communication skills with excellent presentation ability
Ability to work in matrix environments and travel overnight consistently

Compensation: $125,000 - $135,000 base annually
