Physical Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our pediatric therapy team. This position is currently PRN (as needed) , with the goal of transitioning into a full-time role as our caseload continues to grow. The ideal candidate will evaluate and treat children with a wide range of developmental, neurological, and orthopedic conditions. This role focuses on improving functional mobility, promoting independence, and enhancing overall quality of life through individualized, play-based interventions. This position involves collaborating with families and a multidisciplinary team of speech and occupational therapists to deliver patient-centered, evidence-informed care. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess gross motor development, strength, balance, coordination, range of motion, and mobility in infants, toddlers, and children Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using play-based, functional, and evidence-based interventions Address a variety of pediatric diagnoses such as developmental delays, cerebral palsy, torticollis, genetic conditions, neuromuscular disorders, and orthopedic concerns Collaborate with families and caregivers to provide home exercise programs, education, and strategies to support progress outside of therapy sessions Work closely with occupational and speech therapists to support interdisciplinary care and shared goals Document evaluations, treatment sessions, progress reports, and care plans in a timely and accurate manner Monitor and adjust therapy plans based on developmental milestones, family goals, and patient progress Provide services across clinic settings (and potentially in-home or community-based environments if applicable) Maintain a safe, engaging, and child-friendly therapy environment Stay current with best practices in pediatric physical therapy through continuing education and professional development Provide services across 2 office locations (Clarkston, Davison) Experience: Pediatric clinical experience strongly preferred (outpatient, early intervention, school-based, or inpatient pediatric rehab) Experience treating common pediatric conditions such as developmental delays, torticollis, cerebral palsy, toe walking, and motor planning challenges Familiarity with family-centered care and working collaboratively with caregivers Comfort working as part of a multidisciplinary team , including OTs, SLPs, educators, and physicians Experience using play-based therapy and age-appropriate interventions to engage children from infancy through adolescence Prior experience in outpatient private practice or clinic setting preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Thrive Therapy Center
