Job Details

• Position Description: NOC Shift, 3/12's, 20 weeks. The Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse delivers comprehensive care to adult surgical patients, responding swiftly and accurately to changes in patient conditions, and initiating the computerized Plan of Care on admission.
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing; current RN license in the State of Oregon; BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; evidence of continuing education appropriate for skill level and practice area.
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The nurse performs a variety of duties often changing from one task to another, making evaluations and decisions based on verifiable criteria. Responsibilities include providing compassionate care that respects patient confidentiality, with an emphasis on teamwork, effective communication, and cultural competency. Flexibility to float to other qualified departments as needed. Participates in required educational programs relevant to the position.
