X-Ray Technologist / Medical Assistant (Full-Time)

AFC Urgent Care in Memphis is hiring a Full-Time X-Ray Technologist for a dual-role position that combines radiology + hands-on patient care. If youre looking for a role where youre actively involved in patient care, not just behind the machine, this is a strong fit.

What Youll Do
X-Ray Duties

• Perform diagnostic X-rays (Full Scope preferred)
• Ensure proper positioning, technique, and radiation safety (ALARA)
• Prepare images for provider and radiology overreads

Medical Assistant Duties

• Room patients and assist providers with exams and procedures
• Run point-of-care labs and support clinical workflows
• Administer treatments within scope
• Discharge patients and provide instructions

Team Support

• Help maintain patient flow in a high-volume clinic
• Assist with both clinical and front office tasks as needed

What Were Looking For

• ARRT registered (or eligible) preferred
• Tennessee X-Ray License required
• Full Scope strongly preferred (Limited Scope considered with experience)
• Experience in urgent care, ER, or high-volume outpatient setting is a plus
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-driven environment
• Willing to take on both X-ray and Medical Assistant responsibilities
