Pipe Fitter

We are currently seeking experienced Pipe Fitters to join our team. Candidates must have experience fitting and assembling process piping systems in accordance with drawings, specifications, and industry standards.Primary Responsibilities and Key DeliverablesRead and interpret isometric drawings, spool sheets, P&IDs, and fabrication drawingsMeasure, cut, bevel, align, and fit pipe for weldingAssemble carbon steel and stainless-steel piping systemsInstall valves, flanges, fittings, and supportsPerform field measurements and verify dimensionsUse hand tools, grinders, torches, pipe threading machines, and layout equipment safelyPrepare piping systems for hydrotesting and inspectionWork closely with welders, supervisors, and QA/QC personnel to complete projects efficientlyWork safely in a fabrication shop and/or field environmentMaintain a safe and clean work environmentFollow all company and site-specific safety proceduresAssist with field installation, repairs, modifications, and shutdown/turnaround work as neededMeet production schedules while maintaining quality standardsRequired Skills and CompetenciesMinimum 3–5 years of pipe fitting experience preferredStrong knowledge of process piping systemsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and isometric drawingsExperience with pipe alignment, fit-up, and bolt-upKnowledge of welding symbols and fabrication tolerancesFamiliarity with hydrotesting and piping inspections preferredReliable transportation and strong work ethic requiredMinimum Education and ExperienceRefinery and chemical plant workProcess piping fabricationStainless steel and carbon steel pipingPressure vessels/storage tanksASME B31.3 piping systemsField installation and turnaround workValid TWIC cardAcceptable MVR/Background Check and pass pre-employment screeningsWork EnvironmentWork a 12-hour shift with 30-minute lunch breaks. If requested, work overtime, and respond to emergency callouts whenever they occur. Work days, nights, and weekends and or holidays. Travel to customers and other Miller sites as needed.Physical effort required: Handling tools, materials, and equipment weighing up to 150 lbs. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to sit, stand, walk, crawl, bend, squat, and kneel. Must be capable of climbing towers/vessels/tanks. #J-18808-Ljbffr
