Job Purpose The Department of Teacher Education at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington, invites applications for its Adjunct Faculty Pool focused on Washington State teacher certification coursework. We welcome applications from individuals with 5–7 years of K–12 teaching experience who demonstrate specialized expertise in K–12 educational practice. We seek candidates who can support our students in meeting Washington State teacher certification standards and contribute to our shared work preparing future educators. For more information on our mission, please visit: Essential Functions Prepare, plan and teach assigned courses Create and evaluate assignments, including submitting grades according to established deadlines Use Canvas to organize the course, communicate with students, collect assignments, and post grades Collaborate with department chair and/or program director on curriculum and key assessments Minimum Qualifications Master's or doctoral degree in an education discipline Preferred Qualifications Prior teaching experience at the university level. Demonstrated ability/potential to provide quality educational experiences to a diverse student population.
