The Route Truck Driver position is a non-exempt hourly position. Requires the worker to be constantly on the move/proactive and/or to sit for extended periods of time. This position requires constant exposure to outside elements (heat, sun, rain, etc.). Shifts fluctuate to coincide with operational needs. Changes to the schedules can be made at management’s discretion. Working on weekends and nights is sometimes required.

Reporting Relationship

Transportation Manager

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Drive and operate liquid recovery vehicle when required

• Comply with all regulatory agency’s requirements (DOT, EPA, DEP, etc.) as well as Our policies and procedures

• Pick up and deliver various 55-gallon containers of product (oil, oil filters, ABS, etc.) and empty drums

• Drive and operate vacuum truck when required

• Drive and operate a tractor trailer when required

• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by your manager

Skills:

Additional core competencies needed:

• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.

• Tanker (T endorsement) required

• Must be able to successfully pass a Department of Transportation Physical Exam

• Must be able to successfully pass a drug screen

• Must be computer literate (GPS Apps, routing Apps, logistics software)

• Minimum of 3 years’ commercial vehicle driving experience is required
