Audio Video and Smart Home Technician

Job Description

Job Description

Company Overview

We are partnering with a smart home and audio video integration company based in Carmel, IN, serving residential and light commercial clients across Central Indiana. The company specializes in audio video, lighting control, security, and professionally designed home networks, and it is part of a national network of smart space installation and service companies.

This is a scale-up, not a startup: an established business with years of history, proven processes, and long-standing clients, now investing to grow. The team is expanding from a single technician to a full crew of technicians, a salesperson, and a project manager. Leadership puts personality, people skills, and customer care at the top of what matters, and is committed to training the right person in the technical skills.

Why Join Us?

• Scale-Up Environment — Join an established business with years of history, proven processes, and long-standing clients, backed by the resources of a national network and actively investing in growth.
• Ground-Floor Growth — The team is growing so you will help shape how the team works. Over time, paths can open into project management, programming, system design, or leading the technician team.
• Training and Skill Development — Leadership is nurturing, skill oriented, and training oriented. If you know one control platform, you will be taught the others, whether Control4, Lutron, or Crestron.
• People Come First — Your attitude, teamwork, and the way you treat customers matter more here than any single platform on your resume.
• Variety in the Work — Audio video, lighting control, and networking come together in one role, across new construction, retrofit, and service work.
