Job Title: GIS Tech 3
Job Location: Birmingham AL 35203.
Duration: 36 months
Payrate: $32/hr.

Job Description:
Job Responsibilities:
• Input, process, and maintain power distribution line and equipment assets in ESRI GIS database
• Work with ESRI ArcGIS / ArcGIS Pro software
• Support GIS mapping and data maintenance activities
• Collaborate within a team environment

Requirements:
• High School Diploma required
• Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, or related field, GIS Certificate, or 2+ years of GIS experience
• Experience with ESRI ArcGIS required; ArcGIS Pro preferred
• Microsoft Office proficiency required
• CAD experience is a plus
• Power Distribution industry knowledge preferred

Work Schedule:
• Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week
• Training onsite in Birmingham for approximately 3 months
• Opportunity to transition to primarily remote work afterward
• Must currently reside within commuting distance to Birmingham, AL
