Position Summary The Retail Operations Coordinator supports the administration and coordination of retail banking operations across branch locations, serving as a liaison between branches and centralized departments (Deposit Operations, Compliance, BSA, IT). This role focuses on coordinating operational processes, tracking compliance and exception items, maintaining documentation, and supporting communication between branches and management. Key Responsibilities Track and compile branch exception reports, audit findings, and outstanding action items; follow up with branches to confirm resolution. Maintain and update operational logs, tracking sheets, and recordkeeping systems (e.g., cash limit exceptions, training completion, policy acknowledgments). Assist in scheduling and coordinating branch audits, cash counts, and internal reviews. Support the preparation of operational reports and summaries for management and committee reporting. Assist branch staff with questions on operational procedures, routing more complex issues to the appropriate department. Assist with maintaining and organizing procedure manuals, forms, and job aids, ensuring branches have current versions. Help monitor branch adherence to established procedures (cash limits, batching deadlines, documentation standards) and flag recurring issues to management. Assist with special projects related to branch operations, efficiency initiatives, or process improvements. Perform reconciliations as directed by the Deposit Operations Manager. Assist with operational accounting duties including, but not limited to, fixed assets, prepaids, and accounts payable. Required Qualifications 2–4 years of banking experience, ideally including branch operations, teller, or new accounts experience. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple ongoing tasks and communicate effectively across departments and branch locations. Proficiency with core banking systems, spreadsheets, and standard office software. Clear written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity cash handling controls, and branch audit processes. Experience with tracking/reporting tools or systems used for compliance or exception tracking. Physical Requirements / Work Environment Primarily office-based; may require some periodic travel between branch locations.
