Nationality Requirements Due to the nature of the programs we support, certain roles may require candidates to meet U.S. nationality requirements and be eligible to obtain a security clearance. Position Summary Designs and develops tools and machinery. Applies engineering skills to achieve tool/ product development in support of assigned project(s).
Job Description Develops solutions and solves moderately complex problems gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function to deliver engineering projects on-time, on-quality, and on-budget. Reviews product design and build requirements to determine tooling concepts, design options, testing plans, and specifications. Develops designs for fixtures, jigs, gauges, cutting and forming tools, carts, racks, and other items to support production. Utilizes Computer-Aided Design (CAD) to create accurate, complete, and concise design models and documentation to fabricate tools. May carry out duties off-site as required based on project need. Typically, a Bachelor Degree (or equivalent) in a related field and 4+ years of related experience or a recognized apprenticeship.
