This position is responsible for the safe and effective movement of materials throughout the warehouse, ensuring that products are accurately picked, packed, and shipped to meet customer demands. The Material Handler will also be tasked with maintaining inventory accuracy and organization, which is vital for streamlining production processes. By utilizing various material handling equipment, the individual will contribute to minimizing downtime and enhancing overall productivity. Ultimately, the success of this role directly impacts our ability to deliver high-quality products to our customers in a timely manner. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience in material handling or warehouse operations. Ability to operate material handling equipment safely and effectively. Must be able to Speak, Read, and Write English Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with warehouse management systems. Experience with order picking and shipping/receiving processes. Ability to work overtime as needed to meet production demands. Responsibilities: Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks to move products within the warehouse. Accurately pick and pack orders based on shipping requirements and ensure timely dispatch. Receive incoming shipments, inspect for damage, and update inventory records in the warehouse management system. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and assist in assembly line operations as needed. Skills: The required skills for this position, such as proficiency in operating material handling equipment, are essential for the daily movement of goods within the warehouse. Order picking skills ensure that the right products are selected and prepared for shipment, which is critical for maintaining customer satisfaction. Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes allows the Material Handler to efficiently manage incoming and outgoing inventory, contributing to overall operational success.
