Cloud/Network Engineer

Job Overview The Cloud Engineer will be primarily engaged in designing and implementing Cloud Located IT solutions based on best practices and customer needs. The Engineer will be required to design, install and configure cloud and hybrid environments to effectively integrate the customer on premises network with the customer’s cloud environment including servers, storage, and other networking devices. The Engineer will document, demonstrate and transfer knowledge regarding the setup and operation of each individual solution being delivered directly with the customer for future support needs. The Engineer will provide the customer with written documentation including configurations, procedures, and diagrams of the solution based on best practices. Essential Functions Design, configure, test, and deploy cloud & hybrid network solutions. Design, configure, test, deploy, and monitor Identity Management & MFA solutions. Provide SME training and mentorship to peers as needed or requested. Troubleshoot networking issues, routing, speed and QoS issues. Keep current with and provide input / evaluation on new technology. Configure and support Entra/AD, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and other common technologies as they relate to customer needs. Resolve escalated issues/assigned tasks from NOC level 2 technicians. Create, maintain, review, & update technical documentation of cloud solutions. Delivery of network assessments and other consulting engagements as needed. Perform customer on-site visits to troubleshoot/repair networking equipment. Ability to build Cloud infrastructure, including but not not limited to Azure VM’s, Define and implement Role Based Access Control policies. #J-18808-Ljbffr
