Job Description
Exciting Opportunity for a Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse!

Job Description:
- Shift: Days, Monday to Friday
- 5x8 hour shifts, starting as early as 0600 (flexible based on cases)
- Local Radius Rule: Candidates must be at least 50 miles from the facility (based on driver's license)
- Must adhere to Employee Separation Policy for former employees
- Orientation Dates: 11/2, 11/9, 11/16, 11/23, 11/30, 12/7
- Patient Care Focus: Cardiac Holding with float assistance to Vascular and possibly Diagnostic Cardiology
- Unit Details:
- Beds: 19 pre/post rooms
- Nurse to Patient Ratios: 1:3
- Patient Types: Pre/Post - Heart Cath, Cardiac Cath, possibly EP, Groin/Radial Site Management
- Requirements:
- 15 months of Cath Lab, Critical Care, and/or PACU experience in a hospital or medical center setting (required)
- Pre/Post Op/Recovery experience (required)
- EPIC EMR experience (required)
- 1st time travelers welcome with at least 36 months of experience
- Groin Radial Site Management experience (required)
- TR Band Management experience (required)
- Work history/resume must have 24 months of current Cardiac Cath Lab, PACU, or Pre/Post Op Surgery experience (required)
- Skills checklist specific to Cardiac Cath Lab and/or Pre/Post Op (required)
- At least one professional reference from charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO performance evaluation/reference within 24 months (highly preferred)
- Valid Driver's License (required)
- AHA/Active American Heart Association or ARC/American Red Cross BLS (required)
- AHA/Active American Heart Association ACLS (required)
