About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to play a pivotal role in driving the technology strategy that fuels its growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting the direction of technology, including architecture, build-vs-buy decisions, and the strategic use of AI. This role is not just about engineering; it's about using technology as a revenue engine and working closely with sales and marketing to leverage AI, automation, and data to enhance the sales process. The CTO will lead a distributed engineering team, scale the platform, and ensure the resilience and continuity of the technology. Executive partnership is also a key aspect of the role, as the CTO will sit on the Executive Committee and work directly with the CEO and other leaders to align business needs with technical execution. Applicants for the CTO position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in technology, with a proven track record of leadership and a background that includes a CTO, VP of Engineering, or Head of Technology role. The ideal candidate will have experience in scaling both teams and systems, a deep understanding of AI-driven architecture, cloud infrastructure, APIs, integrations, and data, and the ability to lead a remote, distributed, and international team. While not mandatory, experience in real estate, proptech, or fintech, as well as a background in running a US-based company with a LatAm engineering team, is considered a plus. The CTO should be startup-fluent, business-minded, and adept at connecting technical investments to revenue. Success in this role will be measured by the candidate's ability to quickly understand the existing technology landscape, make deliberate technology decisions, and demonstrate a tangible impact on the company's growth and competitive advantage within the first year.
