Overview We are seeking an Orthopedic Registered Nurse , internally referred to as our Medical Surgical RN, on the 7th floor Tower at Riverview Regional Medical Center (Gadsden, AL), a member of Prime Healthcare. An orthopedic registered nurse (RN) is a registered nurse who specializes in the care of patients with musculoskeletal disorders. They work with patients who have experienced injuries, undergone orthopedic surgery, or have long-term musculoskeletal conditions. Their duties include patient assessment, pain management, wound care, and education about the recovery process. You must have: Current and valid state RN License. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current. Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred. Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred. Ventilator Management experience preferred. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
