Superintendent

Our client is an NC based regional COMMERCIAL GENERAL CONTRACTOR whose Asheville office that is seeking a Construction Superintendent with experience in healthcare, education, light industrial, and or other large ground up construction projects.

Prior experience as a Superintendent for a commercial general contractor is required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, etc. to determine project needs
• Set performance goals and deadlines
• Plan construction processes
• Estimate costs and ensure the project is on budget
• Supervise staff and provide constructive feedback
• Monitor and report on project progress
• Various other duties as needed

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or equivalent work experience
• 7+ years' experience being a Superintendent on commercial projects, ground up experience strongly preferred
• Proficient with Procore and Microsoft Office
• Driver's License and good driving record
