HVAC Lead Installer

Our client is looking for an experienced HVAC Lead Installer to lead residential installation projects from start to finish. This hands-on role combines technical expertise, job-site leadership, and customer communication. You'll help ensure systems are installed safely, correctly, and efficiently while supporting the development of less-experienced team members.

What You'll Do

Lead and perform residential installations involving boilers, central HVAC systems, mini-splits, heat pumps, gas furnaces, and ductwork.
Review job requirements and coordinate with the Installation Manager and crew to keep projects organized and on schedule.
Guide, train, and support junior installers, reinforcing safe work practices and high-quality installation standards.
Verify completed work for quality, system performance, safety, and alignment with company requirements and applicable codes.
Identify installation challenges, troubleshoot issues, and communicate solutions promptly.
Communicate professionally with customers, explain the work being completed, and help ensure a positive installation experience.
Complete work orders, installation documentation, and other required records accurately and on time.
Maintain an orderly job site and use tools, equipment, and materials responsibly.

What You'll Bring

Demonstrated experience installing residential HVAC systems, including several of the systems listed above.
Required HVAC licenses, certifications, or credentials for the work performed.
Ability to lead a crew, coach less-experienced installers, and set a strong example on the job.
A commitment to safe work practices, attention to detail, and dependable workmanship.
Strong communication and customer-service skills.
Practical troubleshooting skills and the ability to keep work moving when challenges arise.
A valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation.

Schedule: 7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.; occasional overtime and Saturdays

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on leadership role for an installer who takes pride in their craft, enjoys helping teammates improve, and understands that quality work and customer trust go hand in hand.
