This role is ideal for an attorney who genuinely enjoys litigating and wants hands-on involvement in complex insurance defense matters from inception through trial.Responsibilities:Handle court appearances in insurance defense matters throughout Southern CaliforniaReview medical records, claim files, and litigation documentsInterview clients, witnesses, and insureds regarding case facts and litigation strategyDraft and argue motions, including substantive law & motion workConduct legal research and prepare case evaluations and analysisManage written discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requestsAssist with trial preparation and second chair trials approximately 5–7 times annuallyPerks of the Firm:Remote flexibilityEncouraging and collaborative work environmentStrong mentorship and trainingGood mix of junior and senior attorneys for support and growthRapidly growing firm with advancement opportunitiesSubstantial support staff, including 8 paralegals
