Overview We are hiring for several precision machining openings with local manufacturers:

• Manual Machinist
• CNC Mill and Lathe Machinists
• CNC Programmers

Mill and Lathe Machinist Responsibilities

• Set up and run CNC and manual mills and lathes to make precision parts.
• Set up jobs, edit programs, and prove them out on conversational controls.
• Choose tooling, set offsets, and set up fixtures.
• Adjust feeds, speeds, and offsets to hold tolerance.

CNC Programmer Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and optimize CNC programs for machining centers and lathes.
• Program with conversational controls, G-code, and CAM software.
• Prove out new programs and first-article parts.
• Reduce cycle times and improve tooling strategies.
• Support machinists with setups, tooling, and troubleshooting.

All Roles

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T.
• Inspect parts with micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and indicators.
• Do routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Keep the work area clean and safe.

Qualifications

• Mill and Lathe Machinist: 2+ years of machining experience on both mills and lathes.
• CNC Programmer: 3+ years of CNC programming experience. CAM experience (Mastercam, Fusion 360, or similar) is a plus.
• Preferred for all roles: experience with Hurco (WinMax) or Mazak (Mazatrol) controls.
• All roles: - Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge.- Skilled with precision measuring tools.
  • Solid shop math.
  • High school diploma or equivalent. A machining certificate or technical degree is a plus.
  • Your own basic machinist tools preferred.
