Candidates must have competencies with immediate postoperative cardiac and vascular surgery patients requiring ICU care. The role involves managing high acuity patients with advanced hemodynamic monitoring. Candidates should be efficient with ventilators, arterial lines, spinal drains, hemodynamic monitoring, ECG interpretation and monitoring, temporary pacemakers, and vasoactive and inotropic drip titrations.
