We have 1 water birth room and 2 OR suites. We are pleased to provide single room care, which provides patients with excellent care all within the same room throughout their stay. We average 200+ deliveries a month and manage many outpatients daily for antenatal testing. Daily census is 18 mom and baby couplets. Our NICU is newly remodeled and have expanded our care to higher risk patients (28 weeks gestational age).Schedule: This position is 56 hours per two weeks on the night shift, 8 hour shifts, every other weekend rotation.Job Expectations:Demonstrates dedication to principles of the patient care model (Professional Partnership Model) and achieving the HealthEast nursing vision and strategyApplies the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to coordinate outcome focused patient care. Throughout this process, also understands and incorporates holistic nursing theory based on Watson's Theory of Caring aligning with the practice standards of the American Holistic Nurses' Association whenever holistic therapy is offeredCommunicates effectively with patient/family, physicians, the interdependent team, and other disciplines regarding the plan of careAssesses and documents learning needs of the patient and family.
