Full Time Certified Nurse Anesthetist

Overview Cone Health is seeking a Full Time Certified Nurse Anesthetist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team serving patients across the Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina. As a key member of our anesthesia care team, you will provide safe, high-quality anesthesia services for a wide range of surgical and procedural cases in collaboration with anesthesiologists, surgeons, proceduralists, and interdisciplinary clinical staff. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive pre-anesthesia assessments, review medical histories and diagnostic data, develop individualized anesthesia care plans, and educate patients and families on the anesthesia process and postoperative expectations. During procedures, administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care, manage airways, continuously monitor patient status, adjust anesthetic levels, and respond promptly to changes in condition or emergencies to ensure optimal patient safety. Participate in postoperative care by conducting patient evaluations, managing pain and anesthesia-related side effects, documenting all aspects of care in the electronic medical record, and communicating effectively with PACU, ICU, and floor nursing staff to support smooth transitions of care. Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, pharmacists, and other allied health professionals to support Cone Health’s commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care and evidence-based practice. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, adhere to regulatory and hospital policies, maintain infection prevention and safety standards, and participate in continuing education to advance clinical expertise.
