Construction Sales Manager (Materials & Interior Products)

AiWB is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive sales growth across construction materials, cabinets, fixtures, interior finishes, and related building products serving residential, multifamily, senior living, and commercial construction customers. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing new business, expanding existing customer relationships, identifying project opportunities, and growing revenue and gross margin within assigned markets. The role serves as the primary customer‑facing representative and works closely with AiWB's purchasing, operations, logistics, and vendor partners to ensure successful execution of customer projects. This position is primarily focused on sales generation, account growth, and market expansion, with secondary responsibilities related to vendor relationships, inventory awareness, and coordination of imported product programs. Sales & Business Development Develop and execute territory and account growth strategies. Identify and secure new customers and project opportunities. Build relationships with: Homebuilders Multifamily developers Senior living operators and developers General contractors Purchasing managers Design and construction teams Generate and maintain a healthy sales pipeline. Conduct customer visits, project reviews, and presentations. Prepare and deliver quotations, proposals, and package pricing. Negotiate pricing and service agreements. Meet or exceed sales and gross margin objectives. Account Management Grow revenue within existing customer accounts. Identify opportunities to expand product categories sold. Maintain regular communication with key decision‑makers. Manage customer expectations throughout the sales process. Resolve customer concerns and coordinate internal support when needed. Project Package Sales Promote and sell: Construction Materials Lumber and framing products Drywall and building materials Roofing and exterior products Concrete and masonry products Interior Products Cabinets Countertops Flooring Doors and trim Millwork Hardware Fixtures & Finishes Plumbing fixtures Lighting packages Decorative fixtures Appliances Bathroom accessories Vendor Relationship Management (Secondary Duties & Support) Develop and maintain relationships with key manufacturers and suppliers. Participate in vendor meetings and product reviews. Provide market feedback regarding customer demand and competitive trends. Assist in identifying new product opportunities and vendor partnerships. Import Program Coordination(Secondary Duties & Support) Support sales efforts involving imported products and package solutions. Understand lead times and supply chain requirements associated with import programs. Coordinate customer expectations regarding imported product schedules. Work with purchasing and logistics teams to support successful delivery execution. Inventory Coordination(Secondary Duties & Support) Communicate customer demand forecasts and project schedules to internal teams. Identify opportunities for stocking programs that support customer needs. Provide market intelligence regarding inventory demand trends. Collaborate with purchasing and operations teams on product planning. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, Technology, Marketing, or a related field preferred. 5+ years of construction materials, building products, interiors or related experience. (ex. residential construction, multifamily and / or senior living) Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and revenue targets with strong administrative organizational tracking. Demonstrated ability to build and leverage a professional network within real estate, construction, or development industries. Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly understand and articulate complex and creative solutions. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills. Self‑starter mindset with the ability to operate independently while aligning with executive leadership. Essential Functions Typical work schedule, Monday through Friday, with travel and after‑hours events as required. Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer and/or electronic device. Ability to travel to industry events, client meetings, and partner sites. Excellent organization, presentation, and time‑management skills. Ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal communication in English.
