Senior Full Stack Software Developer

Job Summary:

The Senior Full Stack Software Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting complex enterprise integration solutions. This role focuses on delivering scalable API and integration services using modern cloud platforms and middleware technologies, collaborating with multiple teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications while ensuring security, quality, and compliance with relevant legislation. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver and sustain API development and integration solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
• Analyze requirements, design, build, test, and implement enterprise information structures and applications to meet critical business objectives.
• Develop and maintain corporate policies and standards consistent with legislation to ensure information and application integrity.
• Ensure security, privacy, and quality assurance requirements are met in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Prepare technical documentation including system architecture, design documents, technology stack descriptions, and user manuals.
• Create database schemas, entity-relationship diagrams, and data flow diagrams to support integration solutions.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and scenarios; track and resolve defects and issues.
• Apply advanced integration patterns and API-led connectivity principles within MuleSoft and related platforms.
• Engage stakeholders effectively to translate business needs into technical integration specifications.
• Facilitate technical discussions and resolve data ownership, governance, and integration challenges across teams.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline with experience in large-scale enterprise IT solutions.
• Advanced experience with Apache Camel, MuleSoft, Enterprise Java, REST APIs, and data transformation technologies (JSON/XML).
• Expertise in OpenShift and Kubernetes for containerized deployments.
• Strong SQL skills and knowledge of fault-tolerant integration patterns including retries, dead-letter queues, and monitoring.
• Proficiency in modern DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, source control, automated testing, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Experience designing complex integration solutions and producing clear architectural and technical documentation.
• Understanding of security, privacy, and quality assurance requirements consistent with MFIPPA and other legislation.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, SQS, and S3.
• Familiarity with enterprise application ecosystems including CRM, ERP, asset management, training management, document management, and regulatory/compliance systems.
• Experience applying API-led connectivity principles in MuleSoft-based architectures.
• Public sector experience.

• Must adhere to security, privacy, and legislative compliance requirements in all solutions.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and facilitate technical discussions.
• Up to 3 days onsite work, subject to hiring manager s discretion.

Scheduling:

• Standard full-time work schedule with potential for onsite presence up to three days per week.
