Overview

UP TO $10,000 SIGN-ON BONUS AVAILABLE

Our organization is a 161-bed, not-for-profit community hospital located in Conyers, dedicated to delivering compassionate, patient-focused care to Rockdale County and its neighboring areas since 1954. We provide 24/7 emergency services along with a comprehensive range of medical, surgical, and diagnostic treatments.

Responsibilities

Conduct patient assessments and perform respiratory care procedures for both general and critical care.
Administer respiratory care for newborns in the Labor and Delivery unit.
Carry out blood gas analysis and interpretation.
Manage and maintain respiratory equipment.
Educate patients and their families in both adult and neonatal settings.

Qualifications

Education

Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences is mandatory.

Work Experience

Experience in Neonatal Respiratory care is essential, or successful completion of department-specific orientation with validated competencies for this role.

Licenses and Certifications

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care and a license from the State Board of Medical Examiners is required upon hire.
Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification is required upon hire.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is required upon hire.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is required upon hire.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is preferred.
