Join our dynamic team at Maxon Restaurant & Grill Inc as a Head Chef, where your culinary creativity will shine! Lead our kitchen in crafting delicious, high-quality dishes that delight our guests in the heart of Schenectady, NY.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute innovative menu items that reflect current food trends.
• Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation.
• Manage kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to maintain efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food preparation and storage.
• Control food costs and manage inventory to minimize waste.
• Collaborate with management to plan special events and seasonal menus.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
• Foster a positive team atmosphere that encourages creativity and collaboration.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role in a fast-paced restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety standards.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and manage multiple tasks.
