Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Experienced Supervisor/Charge Nurse overseeing Med Surg and Emergency Room units. Responsible for providing clinical leadership, ensuring quality patient care, and managing staff during 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily patient care activities in Med Surg and ER settings.
• Supervise nursing staff, ensuring adherence to hospital policies and protocols.
• Apply clinical expertise to stabilize and care for patients, including OB/Newborn cases.
• Manage staffing schedules and resolve operational issues efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, clinical procedures, and documentation requirements.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
• Proven experience in both Med Surg and Emergency Room nursing.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate staff.
• Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities.
• Ability to work independently during night shifts and handle high-pressure situations.
