Job Summary:
The ORT (Operating Room Technician) position located in Vail, Colorado involves supporting surgical procedures by maintaining sterile fields, preparing instruments, and assisting the surgical team. The role functions under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and contributes to high-quality patient care within the perioperative environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, starting from 08/31/2026, with a minimum of 32 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Completion of a Certified Surgical Technologist program and/or licensure as a Surgical Technologist in the state of Colorado; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association; possess or obtain computer skills within 90 days necessary for online learning, policy access, and benefits enrollment; effective reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The role involves physical activity including standing, walking, lifting, bending, and twisting, with frequent lifting up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 20 and 35 pounds. The position requires effective communication, adherence to sterile techniques, and compliance with safety standards. Work begins promptly at the start of scheduled shifts to positively impact patient care.
