Maintenance Custodian Associate

Position Summary Are you ready to help shape a member’s entire shopping experience by giving them a positive first and last impression? We are looking for people who take pride in their work to join our team. As a Maintenance Associate at Sam’s Club, you are responsible for ensuring members see a well‑kept parking lot, clean restrooms, and clean floors. This means you are constantly on your feet and on the go. Maintaining a positive attitude will ensure customers have a great experience from start to finish. Responsibilities Maintain safety of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps, following proper forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe situations to management. Clean all areas of the facility (floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) using company procedures, guidelines, and approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment. Respond to spills, operate floor scrubbers, and dispose of cardboard, plastic, and trash in accordance with the company Environmental Sustainability Program. Maintain appropriate levels of company‑approved chemicals and supplies, rotate and store chemicals properly, and place orders when supplies are low. Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. Able to work entire shifts on your feet in physically demanding environments. Comfortable with change and able to adapt quickly to different work scenarios. Prioritizes member satisfaction and maintains a positive attitude. Benefits Hourly wage range: $18.00 to $26.00. Competitive pay and performance‑based incentive awards.
