Plus bonus potential.Work Environment: On-site in Mendota Heights, MN. Team Culture: This is a fast-paced, high-visibility role in a collaborative, professional environment that values proactive, tech-savvy problem solvers who can manage multiple priorities, build strong relationships across departments, and deliver accurate, high-quality financial insights.Work Schedule: Typically, 8 AM – 5 PM CST, flexibility available. Someone who acts as a true business partner and strategic advisor. In this role, you’ll support a defined region and work closely with Operational leaders by providing insight, guidance, and financial clarity that drives decision-making. You won’t just build reports, you’ll explain the “why” behind the numbers and help shape the future of the business. This role combines technical expertise with strong interpersonal skills, offering high visibility, opportunity for impact, and exposure to multiple departments and initiatives.WHAT YOU’LL DO:Lead monthly financial reviews, quarterly forecasts, and annual planning cycles, capturing and communicating key insights and decisions.Develop and maintain budgeting models to support standard and customized contract negotiations.Own key aspects of the monthly close process, partnering with accounting and operations to ensure accuracy and deliver clear, actionable variance analysis.Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights that drive business decisions.Lead high-impact ad hoc analyses, including new programs, acquisitions, and operational initiatives.Partner closely with operational leaders to align financial plans with business realities and strategic goals.Ensure accuracy of financial statements through collaboration with accounting and proactive issue resolution.Assist with cost reporting requirements for external agencies and regulatory bodies.Support the annual audit process by providing data, analysis, and responding to auditor inquiries.Proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities to support forward-looking decision-making.QualificationsMUST HAVE:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.Experience: 8+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or accounting.Strategic Financial Planning: Extensive experience in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and multi-entity financial management.Systems: Experience with financial systems (Workday, Adaptive, or similar).Microsoft 365 & Excel Expertise: Advanced Excel skills, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.NICE TO HAVEHealthcare & Multi Entity: Experience in healthcare, human services, or multi-entity environments.Business Intelligence & Analytics: Power BI or data visualization expertise.Certifications: CPA, MBA, or relevant certifications.Management: Supervisory experience is preferred.Additional InformationSKILLS CRUCIAL TO SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE:Analytical & Insight-Driven Thinking: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.Adaptability & Technical Agility: Adaptable and tech-savvy; comfortable learning new systems and supporting software implementations.Executive Communication: Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting financial information to executives and directors with clarity and confidence.Relationship Building & Collaboration: Ability to build relationships across all levels of management and foster collaboration between finance and operational teams.Organization & Time Management: Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines consistently.Problem Solving & Initiative: Proactive problem solver with a track record of identifying issues and recommending solutions in complex business scenarios.WHY YOU’LL LOVE THIS ROLE:This role offers a unique opportunity to step into a highly visible, high-impact position where your work directly influences business decisions and operational success.
