This role is responsible for external engagement, evidence generation and scientific communications for Neuromodulation’s Interventional Spine franchise, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and publication excellence. The role requires strong cross-functional collaboration with executive, clinical and business teams to ensure the integrity and effective communication of clinical data.

Work model, sponsorship, relocation:

At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position at this time. Relocation assistance is not available for this position at this time.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Interpret clinical data and trial designs to identify evidence gaps and strategic opportunities within the Interventional Spine space.

• Set and align scientific and communication strategies with therapeutic area goals, leveraging clinical trends and unmet needs to drive impactful publications and educational initiatives.

• Translate complex scientific data into clear, accurate and compelling content for diverse internal and external audiences.

• Drive cross-functional collaboration with Clinical, Regulatory, R&D, HEMA and Marketing teams to integrate scientific messaging into overarching business strategies.

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, fostering collaboration and embedding best practices across medical marketing, clinical and sales functions.

• Oversee the creation and delivery of scientific content, including peer-reviewed publications, conference presentations and medical education programs.

• Serve as a trusted adviser and thought leader to internal and external stakeholders, contributing to initiatives that enhance therapy adoption and reinforce scientific credibility.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Minimum of 6 years' experience in Medical Affairs, Scientific Affairs, Clinical Affairs or a related field.

• Experience in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical or medical device industry.

• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master’s degree or Ph.D.

• Experience in Neuromodulation.

• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

• Demonstrated ability to think strategically, creatively and analytically and solve complex problems.

• Highly motivated, self-directed and results-oriented, with a passion for innovation and patient care.

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
