Community Assistant

Your Role Here’s what you will be doing: Provide exceptional customer service to residents, prospective residents, and guests, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. Assist residents with inquiries, concerns, and requests, serving as a knowledgeable resource on community policies and campus services. Participate actively in leasing and marketing efforts including outreach, social media strategy, tours, and handling inquiries. Develop and implement community activities and events to foster engagement and social connections. Perform administrative duties such as managing resident records, coordinating room assignments, and supporting communications. Promote safety by enforcing community policies, reporting issues, and assisting with emergency protocols. Collaborate with staff and participate in meetings, training, and professional development. Assist in the “turn” process and other responsibilities as needed based on community requirements. About You The company is looking for candidates with: Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and mentor diverse groups. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong organizational and time management skills. Knowledge of or willingness to learn about campus resources and services. Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and respect. Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn software applications. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and occasional special events. Ability to be on-call for emergencies. Good standing account if currently a resident. Compensation & Benefits Compensation at $16.00 per hour. Continually required to sit, use hand and finger dexterity, and communicate verbally. Occasional exposure to outside weather conditions. Noise level usually moderate.
