In this essential role, you will provide hands-on care and emotional support to residents, helping them with daily living activities and contributing to a safe, clean, and compassionate environment. If youre passionate about making a difference in the lives of others, wed love to hear from you./ppQualifications:/pulliMust have successfully completed a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) program, or be enrolled and complete the program within four months of hire/li/ulpKey Responsibilities:/pulliProvide hygiene assistance to residents/liliAssist residents with feeding and daily living needs/liliPerform basic treatments and procedures as directed by the charge nurse/liliObserve and report residents psycho-social and emotional needs/liliNotify the Charge Nurse of any changes in residents conditions/liliMaintain a clean and neat personal appearance/liliDemonstrate respectful and professional behavior toward co-workers and facility contacts/liliUse nursing home equipment properly and safely/liliFollow OSHA guidelines for handling and storing chemicals and equipment/liliAttend required in-service training programs/liliAssist in other areas as directed by the Director of Nursing/li/ulpPhysical Requirements:/pulliAbility to stand for extended periods/liliLift up to 50 pounds/liliFrequent bending, turning, pushing, and pulling/liliUse of both hands and arms/liliExposure to odors, body secretions, and excrements/liliPotential exposure to behavioral disorders/liliMust be able to manage interpersonal conflicts effectively/li/ulpThe Avenue at Strongsville is a post-hospital rehabilitation and skilled nursing care facility offering a distinctive experience not commonly found in traditional care settings.
