This is a 13-week contract position. Job Description Under the direction of the Director of Radiology, the MRI Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of technical procedures applying to Magnetic Resonance Imaging. This position works independently, performing MRI procedures that require independent judgment and initiative, along with a comprehensive understanding of MRI safety. ResponsibilitiesPerform MRI procedures applying to Magnetic Resonance Imaging. Exercise independent judgment in the execution of MRI technical procedures. Ensure MRI safety protocols are adhered to at all times. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure5 years of experience in a hospital setting as an MRI Technologist - Required Graduate of an AMA approved program of Radiologic Technology - Required Siemens MAGNETOM Sola Expert Experience - Required Venipuncture Certification - must be willing to obtain - Required Toshiba and Cerner experience - Preferred Travel experience - Highly Preferred Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) - Required Active American Health Association BLS - Required Why ARMStaffing?
