1 week ago Be among the first 25 applicants Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking an Operator I. The core hours are 7:00am to 3:30pm. The hourly rate for this position is $16.80 per hour. What You’ll Do This position is responsible for the set up and operation of various machines to produce quality parts based on pre-determined specifications. Studied blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, and sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece or setup requirements. Set up, started, and observed machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and troubleshot or adjusted machine controls as required. Operated a variety of machines as directed by supervisor or lead. Completed changeovers and material feed-through. Completed first piece inspections and machine guarding checklists. Used gauges and calipers to inspect and verify conformance of finished workpiece to specifications. Performed other duties as assigned. Qualifications Basic (Required) Qualifications Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution. Experience with various measuring instruments and ability to read blueprints. This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
